Prior to qualifying in 2010 I worked in higher education at Hallam University. I started out as a note-taker and communication support worker with Deaf students in 1998.
In 2002 I became self-employed and interpreted at several colleges and universities in and around Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
I am currently working as a freelance BSL Interpreter and my specialisms are medical settings and higher education.
