Please find below my terms and conditions.
Interpreting Rates
Call out Fee Up to two hours, but dependant on work domain
Half Day Fee Over two hours but dependant on work domain
Daily Rate (9am to 6pm)
Evening Rate By negotiation (6pm to 8am)
Specialist rate – University/Higher Education Charged by half day fee (3hrs), full day fee (6hrs) then £35 per hour thereafter – evening rates by negotiation.
Weekends and Bank holiday rates are by negotiation.
Lone working over 2 hours may incur a slightly higher charge.
Any requests outside the stated terms and conditions are agreeable by negotiation.
The Fee will be negotiated and agreed before the Assignment.
However, there may be an increase to the Fee if:
1) The cost of providing the Service to the Client increases due to circumstances beyond my control.
2) Additional services to those stated in the original booking are required.
3) The services are required outside of normal working hours.
4) A designated co-worker fails to attend the session.
5) The specification of the booking is changed by the Client.
6) There is a delay caused due to the Client.
Travel
Travel is charged at 40p per mile.
Tickets will be provided, as proof, for any cost incurred on public transport.
Tickets will be provided, as proof, for any parking fees incurred.
Travel time over the 3-hour minimum may incur a charge and is agreeable by negotiation.
Cancelation Fees
Cancellation fees are charged as follows,
Cancellation on eight to 14 days notice – 50% Fee
Cancellation on seven or less days notice – 100% Fee
Cancellations must be received by 5pm on a working day, or they will not be deemed as being received until 9am on the following working day.
A ‘pencilled in’ booking will only be held for 24 hours. If the session has not been confirmed within the 24 hours then it will be deemed to have been cancelled and it will be removed from the diary.
Any bookings responded to and not confirmed by the client within 24 hours, will be deemed as unconfirmed and will be removed from the diary.
Payment of Invoices
All monies due will be paid in full by the Client within 30 days on receipt of the invoice.
If the Client fails to pay within the allotted timescale, this may result in,
1) Further bookings being invoiced in advance
2) Refusal to undertake any further assignments until all outstanding monies have been paid.
3) Interest being charged on the outstanding amount.
4) The Client being charged expenses for reclaiming outstanding monies, due to fees.
